Check data types Empty
PostSubject: Check data types   Check data types EmptyMon Jul 19, 2010 7:59 pm

Hello,

I know that val(var$) converts a string into a numeric var. How can I check, whether an edit-control contains numeric data? I'd like to calculate with it afterwards. So I'd like to put the edit_controls in a repeat/ until-loop, until everything's numeric. What do I have to do?

Kind regards, Fordi

If N is the number of an EDIT:
Code:
if numeric(text$(N))=1 then print "the edit contains numeric data"
