What about 3d_tetrahedron and 3d_pyramid? Empty
PostSubject: What about 3d_tetrahedron and 3d_pyramid?   What about 3d_tetrahedron and 3d_pyramid? EmptyFri Nov 19, 2010 1:28 am

I really like the easy and powerful way I can create 3d-objects in PANORAMIC. However, I miss some polyhedrons to create landscapes or e.g. models of chemical molecules. Most I miss tetrahedrons and pyramids.
First I thought I could create these objects using 3d_line.
And indeed this is very easy.
But the resulting polyhedrons are skeletons only without a surface and I can't colour them or assign a texture to them.

Can I or - if not - maybe you (as a feature request) overcome this limitation somehow?

What about 3d_tetrahedron and 3d_pyramid? Empty
PostSubject: ... and what about 2d_triangle?   What about 3d_tetrahedron and 3d_pyramid? EmptySun Nov 21, 2010 8:18 pm

I've just realized there is an analogous lack in 2d.

If I were able to draw filled triangles I could virtually draw any (polygon) shape ...

example:

2d_fill_color 0,255,0
2d_circle 100,100,50
2d_fill_color 0,0,255
2d_rectangle 200,200,70,130

' and what about triangles?

2d_fill_color 255,0,0

' 2d_triangle 150,150,200,300,250,100 won't work, :-(

2d_poly_from 150,150
2d_poly_to 200,300
2d_poly_to 250,100
2d_poly_to 150,150

' I cannot fill them, can I?
