A compiler is coming soon

The current version of PANORAMIC scans the whole source to distinguish the used structures (IF/THEN, WHILE/END_WHILE, REPEAT/UNTIL, SELECT, ...) then analyses and parses the lines before executing them.

A true compiler will be available in a few weeks, which translates internaly the source, compiles it and outputs the result as an autonomous executable.
I almost finished the developpement. I am now testing the alpha version and fixing one by one the encountered bugs.

The compiler is a huge improvement for the user as it multiplies by 15 the execution time.

Best news ever but what is happening with the compiler. Also dose this mean that we will see faster code with the compiler?

Yes. Code will be from 10 to 20 times faster ! Lightning speed, if I may say so.

Actually, we only had some compiled demo programs. Work on th compiler is still ongoing.

It is clear that since a couple of months, I neglected this English forum, giving all my efforts to the French forum.

Why can't you use a file service that we can GET THE FILE FROM. Do you expect us to pay them to get your files. Use a free Dropbox account. It is free for you and everyone else. Thank you.
